Wedding oath for 2013
I promise to love you unconditionally. To care for you as I do for our planet. To act in relationship with you believing that you prioritise our planet and species as I do. Without need for any fancy designer material goods. When we adventure together to do it without fuel. When we shop together to purchase with conscience. To garden sustainably together even if we live in an apartment. To gather only essentials and challenge any desire we may have for more. To celebrate beauty together wherever we encounter it. Together to seek out majesty in the natural world around us, even if we live in the city. To never fight to be right, but to simply live right. I promise we will make love, but not for pro creation. We are over represented on our earth. I promise to respect you the way I respect the world. I promise to have fun with you in every moment, enjoying the space, time, choices and true existence we will share. I am so grateful I have found someone who shares my priorities. I am so grateful that through you I have found hope for humanity on the most splendid home. I am so grateful for the full biodiversity of life around us. I am so grateful that with you I have found peace and let go of any need to prove myself by harming the planet. Thank you.
