Seems primates are seen to be brighter than the rest of the animal kingdom. In science there is research to back this up. It's odd that the research experiments are designed with a preconception of what intelligence is. In fact, the word intelligence in many of the research conclusions may as well be replaced with 'human-like'.
Facts that are relevant: Every animal is so perfectly adapted to live in its environment.
We will never know what it feels like to be another species. (At least in this lifetime) so how can we judge.
It is apparently intelligent (and definitely human-like) to breed till you cannot sustain your species in its environment; to utilise any resource at your disposal no matter the impact it has on your long term survival or that of your species; to kill for territory, lie for sex, judge for fun and dress up to cover up insecurities.
Very bright indeed.
