I don't have a whole lot but I have so much more than so many. Tonight I lifted a friend of my sons home. He is only 17 and had spent the weekend renewing his permit so he can stay in South Africa because he is a Zimbabwean national. His dad died last year so he did a journey to the Zimbabwean border in taxis and busses on his own. In lines all night with police and dogs keeping order aggressively. My son spent the weekend with his friends doing teenager stuff. Thank you for my time with this young man. Growing my appreciation for what I have. For the security my kids have. And for me knowing this remarkable young man!!
